The poster size is A0 (841mm x 1189mm). Your printer will probably provide this at a cost of around £35.
It is not necessary to use plasticised posters - the cases are completely watertight, and plasticised posters are not recyclable.
The cases are opened via two locks at the bottom, both keys to be operated simultaneously. The case then opens upwards and is held by stays at the top.
The poster should be affixed to the back board by means of Blu-Tack, Sticky Fixers or similar - Blu-Tack works extremely well with five or six blobs at the top, a couple down each side and three at the bottom.
When closing the case it is not necessary to use the keys - the case should lock when given a sharp push next to each lock until it clicks.
(Ideally this is a two-person job, as it is advisable to have someone hold the poster while the other is unlocking the case - especially in wet weather when putting the poster on the ground is not a good idea! - and to prevent members of the public bumping into the open case.)
By default, the incoming booking will remove and dispose of the previous poster. If the outgoing booking wishes to retain their poster they should make this clear at the time of booking.
